So I am in Washington, DC!

Yesterday Meredith picked me up at 5:30 and while we chatted about our lives over breakfast, I was busy being way too happy about my trip. I survived the 3 hour bus ride to Dallas and even though I was directed to the wrong train, I eventually got turned back around and made it to the airport. I sat at the gate and did some work before take-off. Despite a slight delay, the flight was so smooth and we landed in DC just after 8.Don't get me wrong, DC is no ATX, but man, it sure is pretty here. Even though it is freezing cold! And I'm so glad I have my fabulous travel guide and best friend by my side. I'm so happy to be here with Austin. I wouldn't want to spend my spontaneous vacation with anyone else.Today, he's working hard at his office and I'm bumming it around his apartment. But this weekend, we have lots of fun adventures planned, including: a tour of the capitol, a trip to the spy museum to embark on a top secret mission, and tons of snuggles and Netflix. It's hard to imagine anything better than that! <3
